Ὤφθη δὲ αὐτῷ Ἄγγελος Κυρίου ἐν πυρὶ φλογὸς ἐκ τοῦ βάτου· καὶ ὁρᾷ ὅτι ὁ βάτος καίεται πυρί, ὁ δὲ βάτος οὐ κατεκαίετο.

A Messenger of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the bush, and he saw that the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not burned up.
