Καὶ ἀποστρέψας Μωυσῆς, κατέβη ἀπὸ τοῦ ὄρους· καὶ αἱ δύο πλάκες τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ, πλάκες λίθιναι καταγεγραμμέναι ἐξ ἀμφοτέρων τῶν μερῶν αὐτῶν, ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν ἦσανς γεγραμμέναι·
