Καὶ παραγενόμενος ὁ λαὸς πρὸς Μωυσῆν, ἔλεγον, ὅτι ἡμάρτομεν, ὅτι κατελαλήσαμεν κατὰ τοῦ Κυρίου, καὶ κατὰ σοῦ· εὔξαι οὖν πρὸς Κύριον, καὶ ἀφελέτω ἀφ ἡμῶν τὸν ὄφιν.

And the people, having arrived to Moses, were saying, We have sinned, because we spoke against the Lord and against you. Therefore pray to the Lord, and let him take away the serpent from us.
